About Indol
We make it easy to save energy and money — without compromising on comfort.
Indol's founder Marcus has worked with energy-efficient solutions for over three decades. In the 1990s he established himself as a successful player in air heat pumps — with a deep conviction that energy savings and environmental considerations go hand in hand with economic benefit for the customer.
It was through his industry network that Marcus encountered an innovator who had developed a completely new type of water heater — one that uses the same proven heat pump technology as air heat pumps, but directed at heating domestic hot water.
Marcus immediately saw the potential. Here was a product that could reduce hot water energy costs by up to 80 percent — as kind to the wallet as to the environment. The decision to invest was easy.
In 2010 Indol launched in Sweden and since then we have helped thousands of households and properties take control of their hot water costs.
Unlike traditional electric heaters that draw high power for short periods, Indol products use heat pump technology — steady and low power, without sudden peaks.
